Google has the right idea (of course!). As if they aren’t well known enough, they are now on their 4th year of offering a contest to K-12 graders to draw an image that Google will use as their home page. The theme this year is “What I Wish for the World.” You know, something along the lines of World peace, ending hunger, ending the war, etc. This is an incredible opportunity for school age children to learn about different current events and apply that knowledge. Social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Hulu are expecting a major increase in traffic over the next couple of days.
