Doodling for Google

Monday, February 9th, 2009 in laptops by Jayne Wesner

Google has the right idea (of course!). As if they aren’t well known enough, they are now on their 4th year of offering a contest to K-12 graders to draw an image that Google will use as their home page. The theme this year is “What I Wish for the World.” You know, something along the lines of World peace, ending hunger, ending the war, etc. This is an incredible opportunity for school age children to learn about different current events and apply that knowledge. Plus, what better way to reinforce Google’s image than with the people that will be using it the most?

Now, what better way to Doodle for Google than on a brand new laptop. right now you can choose between a Sony Vaio CR, Dell XPS M1530 or an Apple MacBook Air. Then, when you or your child wins the Doodle for Google contest you can take a screen shot of their design being used by Google and have that sas your desktop background.
