Monday, February 23rd, 2009 in Cell Phones by Jayne Wesner

With all the talk about the different free laptops I’ve found recently, I thought it was time to switch things up a bit and talk about some new free offers I’ve found. I was doing research on iPhones since I’ve had mine for well over a year and ready to get something different when I came across this offer to choose a free smartphone.

There are 3 different Smartphones to choose between:

Blackberry Storm:

  • Wireless Email
  • Organizer
  • Browser
  • Camera (3.2 mp)
  • Video recording
  • Blackberry maps
  • Built-in GPS

Google Phone

  • LCD Flat touch-screen
  • Google search
  • Gmail
  • Google maps
  • High speed 3G
  • Built-in WiFi
  • Camera (3.2 mp)
  • Micro SD

Apple iPhone

  • 16 GB Flash drive
  • Music and Video player
  • 3.5″ widescreen
  • Accelerometer
  • Ambient light sensor

Is 3G For Me?

Friday, December 19th, 2008 in Free Stuff by Jayne Wesner

The new iPhone 3G is the latest in cellular phone technology. It’s more than just a phone as it has regular phone capabilities, GPS tracking, support for Microsoft Exchange, an iPod and tons of other great features. What’s even better is when new features are being introduced you don’t have to run out and buy a new phone. Instead you simply need to plug your iPhone into your desktop computer or laptop and you will get the latest updates for free!

One of the latest updates on the iPhone is the GPS tracking. By simply going to the maps icon, the iPhone can track where you are physically located and although it is not completely in real time, it is very close. You can then use the location you are in to get directions to wherever you need to go. In other words, with this handy iPhone application you will never be lost again!

Another great feature of the iPhone is all of the applications you are able to download. Applications range in price from a huge list that are free to the more popular applications that can cost anywhere from $0.99 to around $12. Although the most popular applications are the various different games, there are hundreds of applications to browse through. If you are into games, browse through those or if you are into scientific calculations, you can browse by that category as well. There are many different categories to choose from!

Basically, the iPhone is still the front runner in phones and it’s been out for over a year now! That’s not an easy goal to obtain since technology is constantly being upgraded but somehow Apple has done it. With everything it has to offer and all of the updates that are continuously being given, a person will often wonder if iPhones even have any real competition.

The one issue with the iPhone is the price. Gone are the days of getting a phone for free by signing a contract. Sure, those phones are still out there but with all of the features of the iPhone, not many people want them. But, I have found a way to get the iPhone for free! If you simply go here and complete a quick survey you can get an iPhone without spending a penny. Don’t worry, the site is legit.
